A gorgeous spot on the beautiful Collins Avenue. We stopped off for a cocktail and some chicken wings. You could actually taste the alcohol in the cocktail and the chicken wings were gorgeous. It was excellent value because we were here at happy hour!! The staff were super duper friendly and helpful.....and we didn't have to wait long for the order! It was nice to watch the people walk by, the fancy cars drive past....and get a little durnk...i mean drunk!!

This place is great! We came here for dinner on a Sunday at 8pm. We both ordered Ribeye steaks with mashed potatoes, I also ordered a side salad. The ribeye is $20 with one side and the salad is under $5. One steak was ordered medium-well, the other medium-rare. The chef made both perfect! The side salad had a very good vinaigrette in it, the salad was made of mixed greens, red onions, tomatoes and bell peppers - the best side salad I've had I a long while! The service was outstanding! Despite the fact that there was no greeter, no busser and no bartender! I have no idea how the two! waiters pulled off a busy Sunday night crowd. I saw one of the bartenders make drinks and ours waiter was bussing his own tables and seating guests. My hat is off to those two, they worked their tails off! In the end I would absolutely recommend this place. 2 waiters, Sunday 8pm, average wait, great servers, $20 ribeye out of this world, house salad with a fantastic vinagrette

After an early Sunday run, thought about having breakfast here because of the good reviews, but it was closed at 8 am although their schedule said 7 am ... I asked the staff when they would open and answered vary vaguely that maybe in another 30 mins.... If you are not open for business, then don't publish you are.

Happy hour review only. Went to this place both days I was in South Beach. The happy hour is 4-8 7 days a week. We had the $5 mojitos, strawberry daiquiris, pina coladas as well as some $4-5 small appetizers. The calamari was VERY good. I really liked all the drinks as well. Both Friday and Saturday the place was pretty empty around 5:30 and we got a great table outside. The only negative? Read your check carefully! Although there is not mention of automatic gratuity anywhere on the menu it was included on the bill both days and the first time we almost didn't notice, which was probably the intent. We were a party of 2 the first time, 3 the second. I don't know if this is a happy hour policy or if it happens all the time

We come here several times a month, the food is good, people watching is spectacular. The service definitely depends on who's working, lately it's been very good. They have bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's, as well as happy hour specials.

This place is a quaint cafe on Collins that offers European style breakfast. I enjoyed my "healthy options" Veggie Egg white sandwich! It was the perfect balance to start the day off with avocado, spinach, tomato, hint of lime and delicate blend of herbs. We also had a side of mixed fruit which was surprisingly a large portion! They also offer unlimited Mimosas/Bloody Mary's for those who need a morning libation! Philip was our server and he was very pleasant! He did not rush us and his personality is perfect for those who need some time to wake up while sipping on their coffee..

I thoroughly enjoyed my food at FL Cafe. We started out with HH and had two drinks and calamari which was good. Me and the fiance decided to stay for dinner and Im so happy we did. The fiance had the seared tuna and I had the seafood pasta, which we both enjoyed. I actualy think I scarfed down my food because it was so delicious. I will return again if I make a trek to Miami again. Oh one more thing our server was such a nice guy and very attentive.

Came with three friends during happy hour. The drinks aren't huge but for 5 bucks in south beach they were a steal. They're also really not stingy with the alcohol my strawberry daiquiri had more of a rum taste than a strawberry taste and I am NOT complaining. Our server was really nice he helped us out because we wanted to split the check and they're not supposed to do that. My group got the seafood pasta, chicken paremesean, lemon tilapia and chipotle chicken with rice and a side of fries. Absolute best meal we have had yet in south beach. It was so good we all couldn't even pace ourselves we had shoveled everything down in minutes. I'm a picky french fry person and their fries are amazing. Get them. This place is great. Watch the check though they add the tip!

Walking through sobe trying to find something good and decided to stop here! The best food I've eaten since I've been here . The lemon talipia with rice was the best, also the Alfredo fettuccine with shrimp was also the truth !! We also had desert and just as the food, the desert was the bomb! I recommend this place and will be trying something else on their menu tomorrow.

This restaurant recently opened. I work at a local hotel and we are always looking for options around the area. I went with 3 co workers to try the food. Asked for split checks before we ordered and the waitress immediately said no with an attitude. When a coworker who had been here previously stated that this had been done before the waitress rolled her eyes and said Ok whatever. People like this should not work in the service industry. There are many other places to spend my money where I will be appreciated and not treated like a nuisance. Not only did the waitress ruin the possibility of at the minimum an $80 dollar lunch, I wont ever come here again. First impressions are very important and thanks to the waitress this sour experience ruined it all. Good luck.

I enjoyed that the resturant was at the main tourist attractions but the food was okay. They didnt have anything special in my opinion. The staff wasnt that attentive. I rather pay more for a better experience.

Average food. I had the Caribbean salad, which was very light and average sized portion for the price. The tomatoes were squishy and not very firm. The taste was blah. The coke machine must have been off because the Coke tasted just like Diet Coke (twice). Didn't drink it. The wait staff was not very attentive. I had stop two other waiters to ask for some assistance (like more water and to ask for a different coke). Overall, I was not impressed with the service or food. The outside seating was its redeeming quality. Great location for people watching.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here just sipping on drinks during happy hour. The best happy hour prices and an awesome bartender resulted in a great restaurant experience.

Excellent service! Stopped by on Friday, had a Malbec for $8 and a glass of Rose for the same price. This place had a nice decor and was very clean. Great place to relax, get shade from the sun and people watch.

Great service! So friendly and accommodating. The omelette I got was to die for. Fluffy eggs cooked perfectly. Espresso and fresh orange juice was so good too!

This place was pretty good, especially in comparison to every other place in Miami, which basically had the same menu from place to place. FL Cafe had a little more variety, and portions were generous considering the prices. The service was slow, but that's probably because an 18% gratuity is already included. All in all, the place was good enough that I went here once for dinner and once for lunch!

  • Jordan M.

We stopped into this place as we were getting sick of the prices on Ocean Drive. The food was good, server was friendly and got the order right, espresso was decent and prices were fair. The menu isn't incredibly diverse but was worth the price for sure.

Terrible customer service. Came in to ask if they were showing the final four games so I could sit down and order dinner, and bartender replied "it's only for customers" in a very condescending tone and facial gesture. Not sticking around to see how you treat customers.

Nice place, they know how to work in a restaurant. The beef tartare is great and the tuna tartare even better. Gotta check it out...

Food was really good and if I could say the same for the service this would be a 5 star review. The whole time I was eating my waiter never came to the table to ask me how my food was or if I needed anything. I guess the servers don't care because everywhere you go the tip is already figured in. If it was up to me my server wouldn't have gotten a tip. Horrible service.

Went for breakfast. Food was average, nothing special. Service was poor. Waitress was nice, but very disorganized and could not handle the influx of customers. When out for breakfast, my coffee cup should never be empty. It was for most of breakfast.

The location is great but the staff, too slow, service wasn't good at all. I'll give it 3 stars because the food wasn't bad. Too to long to come out though.

First time trying this place. Very happy! Great service and food. As a local it was nice to find a place that is close to work. Met the owner and she was so friendly and accommodating. We had the burger, fish tacos and goat cheese panini. Not one single complaint on the food or service. We will definitely be back for lunch and hopefully happy hour!

Stomach cramps and diarrhea among 2 people from a dinner party of 9. May have been the tuna tartare and calamari. Extra star for the service.

One of the best Quesadilla's I have ever had! Drink specials are great for happy hour and the staff was as nice and helpful as they come. Especially the tall, French server we had. I would definitely go back to this restaurant and highly recommend it for South Beach locals and visitors.

They have good customer service and food. We went for breakfast and dinner and both times the food was delicious. The price is very decent too. It's not expensive at all. Nicolas the waiter is very friendly, has an amazing customer service skills. Just the vibe of the workers and the area is good overall.

The food during happy hour was delicious, especially the tacos. The staff- Nicholas and Sergio were attentive, friendly, and great to look at (Sergio = swoon) ;) Every day we were in Miami Beach we had to stop by our favorite spot. Thanks Nicholas and Sergio for a great Miami Beach experience.

This is the perfect cafe in South Beach if you are drastically hung over and need some delicious, home-style food! The service was a bit slow on the morning we came, but it was Pride Sunday, so they were a tad busy. I had the bacon cheeseburger, and it was exactly what I needed at that moment! My boyfriend had the eggs Benadict, and they were pretty amazing as well. What won this restaurant over for me was the prices, it was by far the cheapest I paid in South Beach, and was every bit as delicious as if it were 3x the price!

Great breakfast! Quality food, moderate prices, nice attentive staff. Service is a little on the slower side but nothing outrageous. Nice patio and decor. Definitely will be back next time when in Miami.

This was the nastiest experience I've EVER had at a restaurant. My wife and I sat down for breakfast and ordered- I ordered French toast. So when it comes out, they put down the food and the syrup. My wife notices a small spider on the table. Eh, it happens. Then she notices more. She jumps up...."Oh my god...spiders!". There were about 10-15 spiders on the table (little tiny ones). They were crawling out of the syrup. She saw about 10+ more literally inside the syrup container. Needless to say, we dropped a couple bucks tip for the waitress and bolted!

Great atmosphere and great food. Came here for a dinner on a weeknight. Loved the location and chill, but elegant feel. Our waiter, Nicholas, was awesome. Helped us pic a good wine and was super attentive all evening. I had a spectacular tuna dish (asian fusion, vegetable medley, wasabi potatoes, and the tuna was cooked rare just as I had requested). She had the bolognese, which was good as well. We both thought the food was excellent and the prices reasonable. Also, regarding an earlier review by another person, I believe the restaurant has come under new management since then. They mentioned they are still building their wine list. This place is great and will only get better.

Went there around 11 for lunch. Sat outside which was nice. The server was horrible. After we had already been done for 10 minutes she finally came back and we asked for our check. Well twenty minutes later the check finally came. Others around us were in the same situation getting up themselves to grab silverware and napkins as the server had seemingly disappeared. The food was okay. We had paninis. The caprese panini was barely grilled and the mozzarella was still cold. I would not recommend this place.

  • Mary Rose A.

The food was good and our server was friendly, but the service was not what I expected. It took over 30 minutes to even get our food, which was a burger and chicken Alfredo. Once we were done eating we had to track down our waiter to get the bill, which took FOREVER. I guess when there is an 18% gratuity included service isn't their number one priority.

The chef is amazing! Really good food! Excellent service and the restaurant is cozy and romantic. We've eaten here about six times now, and the menu hasn't disappointed me so far.

Happy hour was a great deal (particularly compared to its south beach neighboring bars with their $50 drinks). Our charming French waiter was wonderful and we wiled away several hours people watching and taking advantage of the $5 drink specials.

Fantastic breakfast place. We were staying at the Ritz Carlton, just up the street. It's a short walk, and the outdoor seating is very nice and casual. The huevos rancheros was some of the best I've had, and my wife loved the made-to-order omelettes. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the following day. The great service was just an extra bonus.

Such a good find! We were down from Long Island visiting family in West Palm Beach for the weekend and we decided to take a trip to South Beach. First of all South Beach is such a fun town to see! We were looking for some moderately priced places to eat and we came across this little gem. They got us a table for 5 right Collins Avenue overlooking all the South Beach action. The chips and fresh guac are to die for! They made the chips fresh right out of the oven, they were perfectly warm..so good! We all loved our entrees, even the pasta and this is coming from Italians that are pretty hard to please when it comes to Italian dishes at a restaurant! I got the Caribbean salad and everything was so fresh. Happy Hour is a must too, $5 drinks that aren't skimpy on alcohol in South Beach is too good to pass up! If you're looking for a good meal that won't cost you too much with a perfect view of south beach's atmosphere, this is the place!
